A whole day length old.

I am now the age Jeff was when we were wed.

Even though the restaurants of Des Moines sabotaged my birthday dinner (rude), fam and friends still made it a magical birthday weekend.
By request, Jeff made quesadillas for my birthday lunch. They were the best quesadillas I have ever eaten in my life. And I have eaten a lot of quesadillas. For my birthday treat he made strawberry cupcakes with chocolate frosting topped with pastel colored heart sprinkles. Have you ever had strawberry cupcakes with chocolate frosting? Let me tell you about the first time I did. It was our six monthiversary of marriage and Jeff left them in a heart for me. And I ate all of them in a few hours. They are so, so good.

I really love birthdays because I think that everyone is awesome and should be celebrated. And I also really love cake.
So thank you if you took the time to acknowledge and/or celebrate mine.

And here is a bonus picture of Ezra's sugar high/messy face. In color for full effect.

  1. Happy, happy birthday girl! How rude that they ruined your birthday dinner, but so glad that it didn't ruin the day :)
