May-be (pun) it doesn't feel like it because there are a couple inches of snow on the ground and more falling from the sky? Thanks, Des Moines.
My mom would always have me take tulips from our backyard to my elementary school teachers for May Day. I don't really know what May Day is except that it is the first day of May.
I really need to use my sewing machine! My brother and sister-in-law got it for me as a wedding present. I have used it to sew curtains. That is it.
Our throw pillows for the couch really need cases/covers. I also want to make Ezra a quilt and make a dress out of this fabric I got at DI a few years ago. But we (I) will start small.

I sewed some pillow cases a while ago for our pillows. If you are looking for a tutorial or something I followed this:

because you don't need a zipper! I did have to add waaaaaay more overlap in the back then they did. If you don't overlap enough then your pillows will burst through the back and make a gap. Hope that made sense :)
